Complaints about and against Sambourne Parish Council

    There have been at least seven complaints  - some  containing additional subsequent complaints - were made against members of Sambourne Parish Council over a two year period.
 
   
 All except  one have been  rejected. 
    
    The cost of the exercise:  
    
    - Monetary cost in excess of £26,000 in investigators' fees. 
- The high personal cost in terms of stress and anxiety suffered by the complainees and their families.
- Unspecified additional  cost to the public purse - the involvement of officials at SDC and WCC.
- Further, police involvement involving many home visits, at least one formal interview and a restriction order applied to several people in Sambourne.
    It prompts a reminder of the statement read by proxy and  recorded from  SPC meeting   September 2021 .
